Hilton HP-95 1965 - Dual 6L6 guitar head - blue

1965 Hilton model HP-95! This amplifier has been fully serviced and converted for guitar use! Starting with a complete electrolytic recap, all original black beauty sprague caps are still present and testing good, all out of spec resistors replaced, grounded power added, inputs swapped for 1/4” as well as the speaker out, these amps originally have a small separate circuit that runs an internal monitor, that speaker was not present when I got the amp, so a new baffle was made in place of where an old one would have been, lastly it received a deep internal and external cleaning! Everything’s working well, it’s an awesome guitar head that has spectacular cleans and starts to push in to Marshall territory when really cranked up! Switchable option for 4 or 8 ohm impedance taps! Really a great looking and sounding piece!
