1970's Univox 4001 Bass Bridge MIJ
Howdy. Up for sale is a nice bridge from one of the really good 1970's 4001 copy bass guitars. This bass is the set neck style with twin truss rods.
From what I've read the Ibanez versions have a single truss rod and some Univox versions have dual truss rods.
It is hard to tell the difference between this bridge and some of the US versions. The only thing I can see that is different is the dial up mute pad is a little thinner. It doesn't have a centered mark on the bottom of the metal base for the mute. The little knobs for the dial up mute might be a tiny bit smaller in diameter.
I verified that The bridge is MIJ. The mute knob threads are M4. The bass was totally stripped that it was on without any logo.
The bridge is in good condition. It has some normal signs of use like nicks, dings, tarnish etc. Any of these basses or parts are really tough to get these days. This bridge could probably be used for USA basses and you wouldn't know the difference.
Shipping is $12 in the US. $45 to many countries. Sold as is no returns.
