With a heavy heart, I'm parting ways with this stunner of a guitar. My collection outgrew the space I have available, so unfortunately, some of the guitars I don't want to gig much have to go.

THE GUITAR
Unsurprisingly, this is the highest quality series production strat I've ever laid hands on. Not much needs to be said about the tone – we all know what this instrument is capable of. A demo video of this very guitar is available in the image gallery in this listing.
All hardware on the guitar is original. The finish is as much eye candy as the tone of the guitar is ear candy. I've added pictures from multiple angles to convey the effect of the finish, which changes between a saturated blue and a deep purple. But honestly, pictures don't do this guitar justice, you'll just have to hold it in your hands.
It's built to about as much perfection as you can get. The difference in quality between this US made model and the SE Silver Sky is noticeable; the US model is absolutely a premium guitar. The frets on this guitar are perfectly level, the neck is perfectly even, the fretboard is comfortably slick, but not slippery. All this makes the guitar's tone sound clean and very precise (no fret buzz). That said, the fretboard is 7.25" and the neck is quite thick, yet it never gets uncomfortable.
I bought the instrument in 2022 from its first owner, who had originally purchased it new from Six+Four (sixandfour.de) in Germany. Like all my strats, I’ve set it up to have a slightly floating bridge in standard tuning.
CONDITION
The guitar has some nicks and dings, which I tried to show in the photos and I'll list the noticeable ones again below. There are no nicks on the neck or the fretboard. The frets are in very good condition.
Imperfections (all visible in the photos):
- Body finish dented on the front, close to the left hand side strap mount
- Small dent on the front, above the bridge
- Small dent on the top edge of the body
- Some finish cracking (not scratches from what I can tell) on the front, between bridge and right hand side strap mount.
- Minor buckle rash, left of the tremolo cavity
- Fine scratch or finish crack on the back of the lower horn, only visible in specific light conditions
- Various small dents on the back
SHIPPING & CONDITIONS
I only ship inside the European Union. This is a private sale without warranty of any kind. The guitar comes shipped inside the original PRS Gigbag. The package will be heavily padded, and I'll be paying 50€ toward package insurance for this guitar.
