85/15 "S" pickups produce top-notch tone

The standout tone of the PRS SE Mira comes from a pair of PRS-designed 85/15 "S" humbuckers. Wound to emulate the unique tone of the Paul's '85 pickups, the 85/15 "S" pickups produce a transparent tone that breaks up well in high-gain situations. When you dial the volume back, they clean up and produce a sweet, balanced tone that's ideal for indie rockers. Want a little more bite on the high end? Instead of picking up a different guitar for a single-coil sound, the Mira's master tone control is a push-pull pot for coil splitting.

Comfortable beveled body reduces playing fatigue

While the SE Mira might seem to have a tame body shape, it's anything but. It has an asymmetrical beveled body that's more pronounced on the bass side of the instrument. This simple bevel softens the contact point between your forearm and the body of the guitar to increase comfort and reduce playing fatigue. Comfort isn't limited to your picking hand! The SE Mira has a mahogany neck with a PRS Wide Thin profile. You'll notice that it fills your hand nicely and easily accommodates thumb-over players. The Mira has a contoured lower cutaway that gives your hand more room and better access to the higher frets.

PRS quality at a cost-effective price

The SE series was created by PRS to meet the demand for well-priced, high-value instruments that play perfectly right out of the box. All SE instruments are carefully crafted to the highest standard and utilize high-quality tonewoods and electronics to achieve the PRS sound and feel players around Sweetwater know and love. You'll see PRS SE guitars in home studios, during local gigs, and on the biggest stages across the county. A testament to PRS quality, you won't want to miss your chance to own a PRS SE Mira.
