Three (3) unused NOS 1957 Centralab 500k ohm pots suitable for a Gibson Les Paul, from my 40 year old boxes of parts. Solder has never been on the tabs. All three manufactured by Centralab in April (14th week) of 1957. Pots fully tested for smooth operation, with no scratchiness or noise on my custom made POT tester (see last photos; not included!) plugged into my Les Paul. Pot tapers checked with an ohm-meter, and graphed as shown, and can be compared with popular quality pots. The taper is actually very nice, as it is slightly closer to a true logarithmic taper. You can see on the Standard Resistance Curves plots the C2 taper has the 15 percent "knee" between 5 and 6, which these pots are very close to. All three values are ideally well over 500k, as is preferred to get more definition from PAFs or good replica pickups. Pots come with nut, toothed washer, and flat washers as shown. Very interesting "striped" tooling marks on the metal casing; the classic Centralab look. Centralab made many types of pots to customer specification; these were not made specifically for Gibson, as they don't have the 1053 or 1281 codes. In this case the shaft is slightly larger in diameter than typical pots, and I have included three Les Paul gold knobs that were enlarged with a 15/64 th bit. Easy to do on your knob of choice, if you wish to do so. Also included is an old and interesting Centralab box these came in many years ago (not the original box for these pots). There aren't many examples of these around, so I'm not sure how to value them. Feel free to make an offer!
