Seymour Duncan SHPR-2b P-Rails Hot Bridge White Pickup

The SHPR-2b P-Rails is a versatile bridge pickup that delivers three distinct tonal voices from a single unit, making it ideal for players who refuse to be confined to one sound. Built with Alnico 8 magnets and a beefed-up coil wind, this pickup excels at bridging the gap between aggressive humbucker definition, warm P-90 character, and articulate single-coil snap.

Tone & Tonal Flexibility

Three switchable voices—fat humbucker, beefy P-90, and traditional single-coil Strat tone—are accessed via a standard 5-way selector or push-pull pot, giving you sonic range typically found in multi-pickup systems. The P-90 coil is wound with specially selected wire for output and clarity, ensuring each voice cuts through the mix with its own character rather than feeling like a compromise.

Design & Installation

The SHPR-2b comes equipped with a 4-conductor lead wire for straightforward wiring and is directly compatible with traditional humbucker or Trembucker spacing, making it a drop-in retrofit for most bridge cavities. Vacuum wax potted construction eliminates feedback and squeal, while the 22.40k DCR bridge specification delivers the output muscle expected from a hot bridge design.
