Kenwood KX-630 Stereo Cassette Tape Deck KX 630 Japan 1977

A classic piece of the KX-series, the Kenwood KX-630 is a classic stereo cassette deck from 1977. It is an excellent playback device with nostalgic aluminum faceplate and with the special feature of L / R output levels.

The deck has surprisingly warm and robust sound quality, which makes it a fun vintage listening station. The KX-630 features clear, tactile controls and useful L/R channel recording levels. The output volume level control is a very useful feature. The vintage brushed aluminum chassis brings a 70s charm to any audio setup. It’s a lovable deck with an original wow and flutter (W&F) specification of 0.05% WRMS.

This device was kept in excellent condition. The mechanism is spot on, playback and recording are smooth and stabile. The only flaw is the slightly ragged bottom-right edge. I kept it as it is without torturing the front panel.
