For sale a rarely offered Weiss DAC1 (top on pic) that still sweeps the floor with a lot of current converters. And I’ve put a lot of them to the test: UA, Cranesong, Lynx, RME, Burl, and some audiophile converters like Bel Canto, Musical Fidelity, you name it. Every time the good ol’ Weiss ended up champion.
This is the very first version with the illusive ‘masterclock mode’, which was later omitted. The DAC1 is always slaved to the selected input, but I found it coming in handy sometimes when you want some external gear to clock to the Weiss.
Max. 24 bits, 96KHz, which has always been and still is good enough.
Works flawlessly and also looks pretty decent still.
I also listed the ADC1 mk2 and the AFI1 with TI firewire card. Hit me up for a combo deal if interested.
