Gibson SG Electric Guitar - Walnut Finish - Excellent ConditionThis is a Cool and Pretty Rare Guitar From Gibson, Little history Only made between 1972 and 1974 the most manufactured finish was cherry with a lot less with the walnut finish from research only 487 where made in this colour. The Walnut colour was sprayed over the original cherry in the factory hence why most of these are cherry coloured on the most touched areas . These Guitars are very straight forward no bells ands whistles student Guitars at the time . The Body is made from Alder with a Maple set neck and rosewood finger board. The Guitar has been professionally set up and both the frets and the truss rod have plenty of travel or play left in them.Its Rare these Guitars come up for sale and even more so with original hardware. The only thing that was changed at one time was the tunning pegs but they look Vintage.
