Introduced as a part of Fender's American Vintage Series, the Fender American Vintage '74 Jazz Bass draws on the vintage '74 J-Bass as well as modern sensibilities to inform its design. Like its predecessor, the American Vintage '74 J-Bass has block inlays, a period-correct U-shaped neck profile, and more. Modern accoutrements include Fender's specially designed American Vintage pickups, designed to offer tonal similarities to the original '74 Jazz Bass with a new clarity.
