The Fender Japan ST57-58US is a faithful reissue of the legendary 1957 Stratocaster, combining classic vintage styling with the outstanding craftsmanship that made Fender Japan guitars famous around the world.

Finished in beautiful 2-Tone Sunburst, this model captures the timeless appearance of the original 1957 Stratocaster while offering exceptional Japanese build quality.

One of the highlights of the ST57-58US is its factory-installed American Vintage (US) pickups. They deliver the unmistakable Stratocaster tone with sparkling highs, warm lows, and articulate mids, making this guitar ideal for everything from clean tones to classic blues and rock.

The guitar features a basswood body, a comfortable one-piece maple neck, a 7.25-inch vintage-radius fingerboard, and 21 vintage-style frets, faithfully reproducing the feel and response of the original 1957 model.

About the ST-362 Body Stamp

Some buyers may notice the "ST-362" body stamp.

This is a common factory marking found on many basswood-bodied Fender Japan guitars produced by the Fujigen factory, regardless of the model designation.

The ST-362 stamp was used as an internal production code for the body and was not intended to indicate the commercial model number.

Based on the construction and specifications of this instrument, I believe the body and neck are original to the guitar.
