A full rework of the Echoplex tape echo emulation that started it all. Tap tempo, a softer footswitch action, three Tape Age settings that model everything from a freshly serviced unit to a worn 40-year-old machine, plus a stronger buffer and more dynamic range than the original Belle Epoch.

The Tape FX knob is where it gets interesting — it controls how much tape wobble and wear bleeds into the repeats. Program 1 is pristine. Program 2 adds subtle pitch drift and a tighter filter. Program 3 pushes into compressed, degraded, lo-fi territory. Delay time runs up to 900ms.
