This is the MXR Stereo Chorus, the larger-format yellow MXR chorus pedal designed for wide, lush modulation with full control over both the chorus character and the EQ response. It is a more flexible chorus than a simple one- or two-knob unit, with dedicated controls for Bass, Treble, Intensity, Width, and Rate, plus mono and stereo output capability.

The pedal is suitable for classic clean chorus, wide stereo modulation, 1980s-style clean tones, thickened lead tones, subtle widening, atmospheric parts, and adding movement to driven or high-gain sounds. The EQ controls make it more adaptable than many chorus pedals, allowing the low end and top end to be shaped directly from the pedal rather than relying only on the amp.

The control layout is:

• Bass adjusts the low-end response of the effected signal.
• Treble adjusts the brightness and upper-frequency response.
• Intensity controls the depth/strength of the chorus effect.
• Width adjusts the spread and modulation range, especially useful in stereo setups.
• Rate controls the speed of the modulation.
