I’m selling this unique, rare all-original 1964 dual pickup SB722D model, made in the Kalamazoo factory. In 1957 Gibson purchased the Epiphone Guitar Company and moved production to Kalamazoo, Michigan. For over a decade, from 1959 to early 1970, Epiphone full-body guitars and basses were produced in limited numbers, alongside some of the finest Gibsons of all time. These Epiphone guitars were some of the highest quality and best-sounding instruments of their generation.
Asymmetrical Coronet style one-piece mahogany body, one-piece mahogany neck, very rare Brazilian Rio rosewood fingerboard, 2x single PU, 2x volume and 2x tone, batwing headstock, Wraparound bridge, 24.75’’ scale length. 100% original condition, frets 10/10, great feel, big resonance, perfect sound. Weighs only 2.9kg!! The instrument is in nitrocellulose, which has a beautiful natural relic!
