The 20% More is a slew limiting distortion — a circuit that restricts how fast a voltage can change, acting on audio like a steep, distorting low-pass filter. Dark, unpredictable, and wrong in the best way.

Turn up Feed and the circuit starts to resonate, injecting triangle wave harmonics. Push the input hard and your signal fights the oscillation — pseudo-wavefolding, synthetic grit, noise you didn't plan for. Blend mixes in a square wave copy of the signal, with options for sub-octave or upper octave via full-wave rectifier. An envelope follower tracks your dynamics and routes to either the feedback or the low-pass gate, so the pedal reacts to how you play.

Not a fuzz. Not an overdrive. Something that arrived from a schematic of mysterious origin and decided to stay.

Features / Highlights

  • Slew limiter core — acts as a steep, distorting low-pass filter
  • Resonant feedback (Feed) produces triangle wave oscillations and pseudo-wavefolding
  • Blend mixes in a square wave copy of the signal
  • Switchable sub-octave (−1 or −2 oct) and analog upper octave (full-wave rectifier)
  • Internal envelope follower routable to Feed or LPG
  • CV input for slew limiter frequency (modular-compatible)
  • Two user-accessible internal trimpots for Drive and Sensitivity

Specifications

  • Switching: True Bypass
  • Power: 9 V DC (center negative)
  • Current draw: 20 mA @ 9.6 V DC
  • CV input range: 0–5 V (normal), 0–8 V (max)
  • Dimensions: 11.9 × 9.7 × 4.8 cm

Controls

  • Input: JFET preamp gain — sets how hard you hit the slew limiter
  • Slew: sets the slew limiter frequency (filter cutoff)
  • Feed: slew limiter feedback — increases resonance up to self-oscillation
  • Blend: mixes in square wave / sub-octave copy of the signal
  • LPG: low-pass gate cutoff at output stage
  • Volume: output volume
  • D (Octave Down): clock division of blended square wave (−1 or −2 oct)
  • U (Octave Up): analog upper octave via full-wave rectifier (on/off)
  • E (Envelope Destination): routes envelope follower to LPG or Feed
