The Serus P2 64 3-Tone Burst boutique electric guitar was designed by renowned American guitarist Dennis Fano, founder of the Fano and Novo Guitars brands. This is an electric guitar with a pine body in the offset design of Serus models, made in American workshops by a small team of experienced guitarists. The body is decorated with a 64 3-Tone Burst color treatment, a slightly antiqued finish (light distress) and a stylish pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two pakfong/nickel-silver frets (.047″x.095″) is glued to the maple neck with a comfortable Medium C profile. The vintage look of the body is also matched by the visuals of the neck, which has been heat-treated to give it the charm and feel of years of mature wood. The combined radius of the fingerboard ensures comfortable chord playing at the zero fret as well as comfortable playing and pulling out tones at higher positions of the fingerboard. The sound of the guitar is provided by two P90 pickups from the American brand Fralin. The boutique look also includes Dumble-style volume and tone controls. Stable tuning is guaranteed by high-quality hardware, i.e. the company's tuning machines, Tonepros TOM bridge and tailpiece. The guitar is delivered in a padded soft case.
