1977 Ibanez Model 2802M natural

Good condition, 6,5/10, Made in Japan, no case, laminated cedar top, laminated rosewood body, flat frets, small dings & wear all over, has a badge from the Swedish distributor Crafton on the back of the headstock with the numbers 278 which means that it came to Sweden in the 2nd quarter of 1978, more info:

The 2802 is a Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1977. It was made in Japan.

The 2802 features a concert body shape with close grained spruce top on rosewood wood back and sides. The soundhole is round and trimmed with an elaborate multi color wood marquetry rosette. It has a well-seasoned nato wood neck, a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with a rosewood headstock. Components include a none compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge, a bone nut, and gold plated precise tuning machine with white buttons.

For 1978 the top was changed to Cedar.

The 2801 is a related model with chrome plated machine heads. The 2803 is a related model with gold plated machine heads.

The 2802 was discontinued after 1978.
