Philips EL 6033/10 (D19)

Up for sale is a pair of Philips EL 6033/10 vintage dynamic microphones from the golden era of European broadcast engineering.

These follow a similar design philosophy to classics like the AKG D19: compact dynamic capsules with very lightweight diaphragms, resulting in fast transient response and a clear, articulate midrange. They have a direct, slightly raw character with excellent presence, making them particularly strong on drums, percussion, guitar amps, and textured vocals.

Sonically, they bring a very immediate and lively response while still retaining that unmistakable vintage tone. A genuinely inspiring addition to any studio looking for character beyond the standard options.

Both microphones are in good vintage condition with some normal signs of use, nothing out of the ordinary for their age. Please refer to the photos, which are part of the listing and accurately reflect their condition.
