Gibson SG electric guitars are rightfully among the immortal icons of rock music. The names of guitar legends such as Carlos Santana, Pete Townshend and other greats of rock music are associated with their sound. The 1964 SG Standard Maestro TV Black Gold Gloss NH is a top-of-the-line instrument from the Gibson Custom Shop, which returns to the design from 1964. The body, carved from a single piece of mahogany, is decorated with glossy varnish and a Black Gold color finish. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets is glued to the mahogany neck. Position blocks (Trapezoid) facilitate orientation on the fingerboard.

The instrument's sound is provided by two specially calibrated, unwaxed Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers. You can adjust the sound character using the volume potentiometers, tone diaphragm and three-position pickup switch. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the string attachment in the Kluson Single Line tuners and via the fixed ABR-1 bridge in the Maestro Vibrola tremolo. The period authenticity is underlined by all the materials/components used and their processing. The guitar is delivered in a case along with a certificate of authenticity.
