This well-preserved mandolin was Gibson's entry-level archtop model in the 1950s and 1960s.
The tuners have been replaced at some point, and the pickguard does not appear to be original. Otherwise, this is a great vintage instrument with a mahogany back and sides and a carved spruce top. The instrument is ready to play, but the strings need to be replaced. The neck is straight and the action is very good.
L. 68.5 cm, scale length 35.5 cm, nut width 30 mm.
There are some signs of age and wear, such as scratches and dents (especially on the peghead). There are also some nicks on the top, but no cracks.
A bag/case can be ordered on request.
