Amazing old cast aluminum lap steel made by Harmony. These were originally gold with silver trim. This one was refinished many years ago and the paint crackled in such a way that it now has the look of an ancient greek artifact.
The pickup was missing when I got it so I had Beaver Pickups fabricate one and custom fit it to the instrument. Two tuning buttons were broken so they were replaced with Kluson style buttons.
As you’d expect the instrument has an amazing sustain to it. And since it’s hollow, it is not heavy.
