The Japanese word Kaizen roughly means "change for the better". Music Man, in cooperation with the guitarist, inventor and designer Tosin Abasi, has achieved this with flying colors.

The Fretboard is immediately noticeable, which is dressed in the new Infinity Radius - the asymmetrical, conical radius allows fatigue-free playing and best readability of the fret markings. The Multiscale fretting allows first-class string balance in all positions. Music Man has developed a special Multiscale Tremolo, which in combination with the Steinberger Gearless Locking Tuners guarantees detuning-free tremolo operation.

The Kaizen also goes its own way when it comes to electrics: an offset Mini-Humbucker in the neck position and a powerful Humbucker in the bridge position cover a wide sound spectrum - in the middle position of the 3-way switch, both pickups are automatically split.
