The Chiswick Reach Comp follows ideas based on classic Altec compressors, but has proprietary feedback improvements which bring down distortion and detailed control options often missing from one-knob vari mu designs. Its all-valve circuit brings one of the most satisfying audio massaging characteristics – dip several db into the signal before any pumping artefacts become noticeable (expressly one of its development's goals). Absolutely exceptional. 

Good reviews can be found through Google – lots of British users from rock to reggae, but this is also the go-to main compressor in the setups of electronic music mastering luminaries such as Rashad Becker or Keith Tenniswood.

I have both, the Anamod AM670 & the Chiswick – I'll be selling since they serve the same function in my setting. One of these is more than enough – whichever sells first, and I'll keep the other. Please note: The heavy duty power transformer emits a light acoustic hum (acoustically! not in the signal path!), particularly during warm up. In my set up this is inaudible when racked.

Technical condition: it works marvellously. The inner white meter panels move a little back and forth when the unit is tilted (for instance during shipping). I've marked it in one photo. Tilt it back before rackmounting, so they don't touch the needles.
Cosmetics: some light marks, chips and scratches around edges, mounting holes and top/bottom from rackmounting. Light mark on the left meter panel. Overall pleasant for its age. Nothing drastic. See photos.
