Early 1980s USSR Soviet polyphonic analog synth with voices not unlike the Solina (organ, strings and brass) but very soviet and very, very 80s. In a brutalist, grey plastic enclosure - the Elektronika features entirely DIN outputs (this is very common in musical equipment from the USSR period as it was a total rejection of the capitalist 1/4" output system seen in virtually every other instrument or piece of music gear produced everywhere else in the world - rough translation of outputs courtesy of Google included in pics).
All labels on silk-screened overlay are written in Cyrillic however the EM-25 is a very simple and intuitive synth that makes plenty of synth when plugged in. A fantastic piece of history and a very good synth on the cheap.
Made in the USSR.
Includes custom Soviet output adaptor cable.
