Alternate Dimension EKS Strat Pickguard - Tortoiseshell

Neck humbucker — 6.5k - alnico V rod magnets
Middle S90 — 6.6k - steel polepiece screws & bar magnets
Bridge humbucker — 9.6k - alnico V rod magnets

This is the most-loaded-full-of-useful-tones Strat setup… and every tone is amazing. The Alternate Dimension EKS Strat Pickguard (Everything [but the] Kitchen Sink) has two Wide Range for PAF rout humbuckers (neck & bridge) and an S90 (Strat sized P90) in the middle with a master volume and tone, a five way lever switch, and a three way toggle switch which gives you a total of ELEVEN TONES: three unique humbucker tones, three unique Strat tones, and five parallel (two pickups on) tones. You would have to use at least two guitars to get this much versatility. Not only do all of these tones sound great, none of the tones sound out of place in a Strat. The humbuckers are made with rod magnets (instead of traditional PAF style humbuckers which use steel polepieces and a bar magnet) so they sound like a Fender instead of a Gibson. The S90 middle pickup is P90 construction but much smaller so the tone is in between a Fender and Gibson tone.

The wiring is what makes this loaded pickguard so unique, which is why I only offer this as a loaded pickguard. The five-way switch is only for the humbuckers… the First position is the neck humbucker, the Second position is the neck humbucker split (single coil)… same thing going the opposite direction with the Fifth position being the bridge humbucker and the Fourth position is the bridge humbucker split (single coil) but it’s the middle position that’s so cool: Third position is the two split humbuckers (both single coils) wired together in series to create a very unique third humbucker tone. This “Third Humbucker” is one of the coolest tones ever… it’s open and snappy with the best tonal qualities of the neck and bridge. It’s one of my favorite tones and I think most everyone will also love it. The three-way toggle switches between the five-way switch and the middle S90: in the down position, the S90 is off and only the five-way switch is engaged; in the up position, only the S90 is on and the five-way switch is off; in the middle position, the S90 is on and in parallel with whichever position the five-way switch in. Pretty unique, right?? I’ve written the resistance readings for each position below to help everyone make sense of all this.
