About This Listing

Matched pair of 1975 vintage genuine Neumann U87 large diaphragm multi-pattern condenser microphones. These are original nickel finish with purple badges made in Berlin. The microphones have a 10 dB pad which allows them to handle sound pressure levels up to 127 dB and a low frequency roll off switch to change the cutoff frequency, reduce the low frequency interference, and compensate for proximity effect, and a pressure-gradient transducer with a double membrane capsule.

It's extremely hard to find a better sounding pair of U87's. The capsules are original and not reskinned. Returns are accepted for any reason, but I believe you would not do that. ((Don't miss out a chance to own a real vintage fully original U87 matched pair! You don't get these opportunities every day.))

The serial numbers are very close (only 14 digits apart) and have been verified with Neumann office and documentation of that can be provided by e-mail.

These U87s have been tested and both are in excellent working condition. Very good cosmetic condition with small signs of age. Comes with 2x microphones as shown at pictures without additional accessories.

Due to the vintage nature of these microphones, all sales are final. I am happy to provide more photos by request and answer all questions you may have. Thanks.
