With a VIRGIN black polypropylene curve-linear smooth cone ( that is talc loaded for inherent dampening) a high compliance/high excursion butylene rubber/ half roll surround, and an ALUMINUM former that's radially vented, you just CAN'T beat the quality and features combined into this woofer to deliver the utmost in fidelity. No more " Bass-Mush" in those 2 critical octaves from 100-400Hz!

  It's rated for 75 watts RMS/ 120 peak music power, and doesn't require a huge amount of amplifier power to get great sound out of it with it's decent 91dB sensitivity.GREAT for either 2 way as a woofer, 3 ay as a woofer, or even high power mid bass driver in a large 4 way set up.I've had customers use it as a dedicated subwoofer as well, even upgrading their powered subwoofer modules with these...

It puts out great solid bass and midrange response with it's 24 ounce bumped and vented magnetic structure and an ALUMINUM former voice coil to really take the heat in high power situations without failing.

You can use these in box volume sizes from .5 cubic feet u to 2 cubic feet. With a 2 cubic foot box, you can get response down to 29 Hz!(-3dB), which is REALLY low for an 8 " driver!
