The Ibanez Prestige SR4500-DST is a premium Japanese-made 4-string bass combining the lightweight, ergonomic SR body shape with high-end construction, Nordstrand pickups and an exceptionally flexible active electronics system.

Finished in Desert Sunset Burst, the SR4500 features an ash body paired with an Atlas-4 HP 5-piece S-TECH roasted maple/walnut neck and an S-TECH roasted maple fingerboard.

The ash body gives the instrument a clear, articulate response with strong attack and excellent definition, while the roasted maple construction adds stability, sustain and a fast, precise playing feel.

The fingerboard features elegant Mother of Pearl and Abalone oval inlays, 24 medium frets and Ibanez’s Prestige fret edge treatment, delivering the exceptionally smooth feel associated with the Japanese Prestige line.

At the heart of the SR4500 are two Nordstrand Big Single pickups with wood covers. These passive single-coil pickups combine excellent clarity and note definition with a powerful, full-bodied response.

The pickups are paired with the Ibanez Sonitech Preamp, providing extensive tonal control through a 3-band EQ, passive tone control and push/pull EQ bypass.

The Hexa Mid system expands the tonal possibilities even further, offering two banks of three selectable mid frequencies for a total of six different center-frequency options.
