Barclay Mockingbird style guitar model

Made in S. Korea (Samick factory) 1986-1992.

Tokai TWB20 microphone set (MIJ)

This brand of guitars and model pop up now and then in transparent acrylic. This is a more traditional take and without the monstrous weight (!). A set of matched double cream Tokai TWB 20 add great value. 24 fret maple neck with rosewood fingerboard (newly treated with proper oil and montys montepresso wax). Overall a great find for both the Japan or Korean enthusiast or Thrash metal fanatic.

  • Body: Nice natural relic. Some wear by playing on the finish. Some belt buckle marks on the back side, a few minor dings on the lower side. 7/10
  • Neck: C profile. Frets with lots of mileage left. Head has no repair or cracks. Truss rod works. 8/10
  • Electronics: Really good sounding pickups. The Tokai TWB 20 pickups scream but would by todays standard be considered mid output. Volume/tone & 3 way sw. Not original electronics back plate, but looks fine. 8/10
  • Hardware: Original tuners (Gotoh?). Bridge is worn but works fine. 8/10
  • Overall action: Plays great. Equipped with Ernie Ball 10´s.
    Accessories: None
  • Shipping: EU only. Shipped in double padded cardboard box. For safer and smarter transport you can ask for having the neck taken off (recommended).
