A beautiful 19th-century-style guitar, built by Hamburg-based luthier Michael Wichmann in 2002. This instrument was custom-made for a client and is modeled after the Romantic style of French guitars in the tradition of Koel, Cabasse, Dubois, or Lacote.
The body, sides, and the front and back veneers of the pegbox are made of Rio rosewood; the corresponding marketing permit (CITES) is available and is included with the instrument. Smooth-running pegs, partial bone frets, and the fine spruce top on the smaller body shape make this historic-style guitar a true visual delight.
Length 95.5 cm, scale length 64 cm, nut width 53 mm
The instrument shows minimal signs of age and wear, such as small scratches or pressure marks. The frets are in excellent condition. Ready to play, this special guitar comes in a custom-made case from Bergner Case.
