This D58 was made as a talkback mike, for which it is excellent. During the time people also found it is a killer on mouth harp and great also as a supplementary mike for drum kit , particularly on hi hat, snare or on higher pitched percussion.
It's good with high level instruments and it's quite handy miking up guitar cabs.
Because it's so easy to position and play around with it's a good mic for fun experimentation.
It has a DIN (small Tuchel) output connector. I can sell you DIN-XLR adapter for 18 eur or can make you a cable.
