Overview
FLEA Microphones churn out some of the best, most accurate recreations of the classic vintage tube mics, and the FLEA 12 is no exception. Every critical component has been sourced from NOS bins, or made by FLEA in house, including the CK12-style capsule and T14-style transformer. The FLEA 12 gives off one of the clearest, sexiest vocal sounds imaginable, and also makes for a stunner on stringed instruments and drum overheads where its present top end sits the sound source right on top of the mix. Two models are produced -- one with a modern power supply featuring 3 selectable polar patterns, and one with vintage style hardware including a remote for full polar pattern control.
