Original GLI PMX-9000 Preamplifier/Mixer, manufactured in Japan for GLI Integrated Sound Systems Inc., Melville, New York, circa 1979.
This is an original first-generation PMX-9000 featuring the early “Transition Control” design. The mixer is fully tested, fully functional, and retains its original rack-mount metal chassis with clean, well-preserved front-panel lettering. Serial number: 010677.
This unit was purchased by my father and used while DJing home parties and neighborhood events in the Bronx, New York City, during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Original period photographs showing the actual mixer in use are available to serious buyers.
An uncommon piece of early DJ history in working condition, suitable for collectors, historians, or vintage audio enthusiasts.
