Craviotto 7x14” Private Reserve Timeless Timber Snare Drum 3 of 3 - 600 Y/O Lake Superior Birch

Here is an incredible piece from Craviotto, built 2/3/22 and limited to just 3 drums produced, this is a 7x14" Private Reserve snare drum made from 600 year old Timeless Timber Lake Superior Birch! Adorned with maple hoops and maple Private Reserve red diamond inlays and 10 Craviotto cast diamond lugs, this drum has been lightly used and kept in excellent condition. Its original Craviotto coated Ambassador has been played in nicely, and no rimshot marks can be noted on the maple batter hoop.

Steve's Notes: The certificate tells the story on this great and very rare limited edition. We were fortunate enough to find one last small batch of this 600 year old Timeless Timber birch, so I specifically commissioned these drums from my Craviotto team as a tribute to the original Timeless Timber snares that Johnny Craviotto created back in the very early 2000s. Truly a ‘timeless‘ rarity here, and the addition of the wood hoops adds a more ‘organic’ and ‘airy‘ sound to the drum. (One of these three drums remains in my personal collection).
