Vintage Ariana 5-String Resonator Banjo – Made in Japan – Original Hard Case

Vintage Ariana 5-string resonator banjo, made in Japan and likely dating from the 1970s/early 1980s.

This is a very clean example of a Japanese-made Ariana banjo, complete with its original hard case and Allen keys. It features a gloss natural resonator, cream binding, metal rim hardware, wooden armrest, 22-fret fingerboard, fifth-string tuner, and vintage-style machine heads.

The banjo presents beautifully for its age, with attractive figuring on the resonator and only light cosmetic wear, small marks, tarnishing and general age-related signs visible on close inspection. The hardware is intact, the resonator is in very good condition, and the instrument has a great vintage Japanese look.

These Japanese-made Ariana and Aria-family instruments are becoming harder to find in clean, complete condition, especially with the original case included.
