1966 Conn 50M Director model intermediate saxophone in unbelievable condition. These old Conns have an unsurpassed beefy tone and texture that is hard to replicate. The low Bb on this horn will knock your socks off.

I love this horn and it has been my baby. Primarily played at home, at church, and a couple jazz outings.

Cosmetically, the horn is close to mint condition. It looks close to the way it did when it came off the assembly line in 1966.

Mechanically, the keywork is very fluid and quiet. The pads are all soft and sealing.

I could write multiple paragraphs about how much of a joy this horn is to play. It is built with the quality vintage Conns were known for. The horn feels so solid and well put together. The tone is full and rich. Playing it just makes you feel good and makes you want to keep playing.

Comes in the original case that is also in fantastic condition.

You will be hard pressed to find a modern horn near this price that has the tone and build quality of this.

Sale is for horn and case only. If you need a mouthpiece, I am happy to provide recommendations for mouthpieces that play great and are affordable.
