Rare Silver-Plated GH Hüller Tenor Saxophone, DRGM 1073082, D Resonator Key – with Dolnet Mouthpiece and Accessories

A rare opportunity to acquire a beautiful, uncommon silver-plated tenor saxophone crafted by GH Hüller, featuring the DRGM 1073082 resonator key system, complete with a Dolnet mouthpiece and accessories.

The instrument is marked “G.H. Hüller Saxophonfabrik Schöneck i/V”, serial number 44380 R, with additional markings 880 and D.R.G.M. 1073082. The exact model name is not visibly engraved; it may possibly be an Olymp model, but this is not confirmed.

The saxophone is a Bb tenor saxophone. Body length is approximately 74 cm and bell diameter is approximately 15 cm. Weight has not yet been measured. The year of manufacture 1940 - 1947s. 

Condition: vintage, used, not freshly overhauled. The instrument has not been professionally leak-tested.

Connoisseurs appreciate the exceptional craftsmanship and remarkably rich, full-bodied tone characteristic of these instruments.

The original case retains beautifully preserved emblems and markings referencing Hüller's participation in the 1937 Paris World's Fair!

Dolnet mouthpieces are uncommon, particularly in tenor size, and this one further enhances the instrument's appeal. The mouthpiece is supplied with its original metal ligature and cap.

The package also includes several accessories: vintage reeds, a neck strap/cord, keys, metal fittings, and a folding saxophone stand.
