the LinnDrum LM-2, a legendary 1982 digital sample-based drum machine featuring 12-voice polyphony and around 15 punchy, realistic drum sounds stored on EPROM (sampled at roughly 28–35 kHz), a versatile built-in sequencer with real-time and step programming plus swing, shuffle, and quantization, generous onboard memory for dozens of user patterns and songs, individual controls for tuning, level, and panning of each sound, multiple audio outputs for flexible studio mixing, external trigger and clock sync capabilities for integration with vintage gear, a solid, roadworthy build, and the unmistakable warm, groove-heavy character heard on countless iconic 1980s recordings—note that it predates MIDI but remains highly sought after by collectors and producers alike.

This LM-2 is in Excellent condition. As signs of aging, the unit has some scratches, scuffs, and some rust (please check photos). The power cable is non-original (please check photos).
