Our humbuckers are handwound in Bristol, UK to capture the magic of vintage PAF pickups.

They use AlNiCo 2 magnets and a specific magnet ageing process to match the tones of the rough-cast originals, resulting in a response that is perfect for playing anything from jazz to metal!

Hand winding leads to non-uniform coil structure in the pickups, which lets the harmonics push through in the sound profile and give it a feeling of airiness that machine-wound pickups consistently lack.

Unlike other boutique winders, the bobbins and covers are manufactured in-house, providing a unique window into the inner workings of a guitar pickup.

- Wire: 42AWG enamel
- Magnets: AlNico II
- String spacing: 60mm for both pickups

Neck Pickup:
- Top coil: 3.5 kOhms
- Bottom Coil: 3.8 kOhms
- Total: 7.3 kOhms

Bridge Pickup:
- Top coil: 4.2 kOhms
- Bottom Coil: 3.8 kOhms
- Total: 8 kOhms

Lightly wax potted and 4-conductor wiring as standard.
