The Eastman E20 OM has a solid Adirondack spruce top and solid rosewood sides and back. On the one hand, it has the mellow, woody and dry tone of the adirondack, but with tremendous volume, articulation and an amount of rich overtones from the hard side and back. Thus, this OM is very powerful not only as a fingerstyle flattop. Also as a flatpickers guitar, this is a cannon of a guitar, without sacrificing that typical character of a small-body.
It also has very high-quality finishes with the herringbone trim, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, hand-carved scalloped X-bracing, and abalone "snowflake" inlays. These high-quality details put Eastman close to its more expensive American competitors.
These are the latest non-thermo cured variants at a very attractive price!
