The Slingshot Shaker combines the frame of a potato masher and various jingles, most often bottle caps, to form a fun, rhythmic rattle capable of fast patterns and a tone that occupies its own space in the percussive landscape.
This is a two-row shaker with a 9" metal frame and a super-comfy rubber and plastic handle. The jingles are made from the always-eye-catching Topo Chico bottle caps. The graduated frame and size of this piece make for a truly full sound, and the amount of jingles used puts this Slingshot, sonically, somewhere between the three-row models (shown in the video) and the more sparse two-row models linked in a video here:
