Upcycled Percussion - Extra Large Pill Bottle Waterfall Rattle / Shaker with SHAKER BOTTLES

These Pill Bottle Waterfall Rattles are a newer item to the Upcycled roster, and this "Shaker Bottles" variant is a little more labor intensive, but a unique beast even among the odd creations that are our hallmark :)

This piece uses four-dozen bottles with locking lids. Inside each is a small amount of reused plastic beads, creating, essentially, a giant shaker made of shakers! Instead of the low rustle of soft plastic on plastic, this rattle buzzes with the intensity of many beads, bottles and lids colliding together.

Wilder yet, the locking lids are removable - and so are the contents of each little bottle, creating endless sound possibilities. Have a completely empty rattle, or fill each bottle with something different for an even wilder sound!

These pieces typically measure 18-20" long with a 14-15" rattle section, built upon three braids at the core. Despite its heftier weight and buzzier sound, there is plenty of texture to experiment with, and still delicacy to be found with some controlled playing.

The linked video does not show this actual rattle, but one very similar in construction and play!
