The Grace Design M905 Analog is a professional-grade monitor controller designed for seamless integration with digital audio converters and audio interfaces. Just like the standard m905, the analog version consists of a rack-mountable base unit and a tabletop remote control unit (RCU) that gives you hands-on volume control, speaker switching, mute, dim, talkback, and other functions. The Analog Control Unit (ACU) features comprehensive analog I/O, including three stereo speaker outputs and reference headphone amplifier circuitry for crystal-clear monitoring. If you already own high-quality converters but need a world-class monitor controller to complete your system, nothing beats the Grace Design m905 Analog.
COMPREHENSIVE ANALOG I/O
The m905 Analog offers all the analog inputs and outputs you need to connect with your external DACs. Analog inputs include two pairs of balanced XLR connectors, plus an additional pair of unbalanced RCA inputs for accommodating vintage equipment such as phono amps and tape decks. Analog outputs include three pairs of balanced line outputs for your main and reference monitors, plus two assignable subwoofer outputs that can operate in mono mode or stereo. A quarter-inch headphone jack on the front panel gives you easy access to the reference-grade headphone amplifier so you can check your mixes and masters in full fidelity.
VERSATILE REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
The included tabletop Remote Control Unit (RCU) puts all of the essential monitoring functions right at your fingertips. Hands-on controls include a large 0.5 dB stepped volume control and illuminated switches for selecting source inputs and speaker outputs, mute, dim, mono sum, and talkback controls. A large, full-color display gives you all the information you need at a glance and allows you to configure settings on the fly. The included 25-foot remote cable allows the RCU to sit comfortably within reach in any control room, and users can upgrade to a premium remote cable to enable headphone monitoring directly from the RCU.
REFERENCE HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER CIRCUITRY
On the front panel, you'll find a stereo headphone output backed by Grace Designās reference-grade audio circuitry, ensuring your headphones receive the same pristine audio playback quality as your monitors. (Note: while the front-panel headphone jack is always active, an optional upgraded cable is required to activate the headphone jack on the RCU). When it comes to the all-important headphone check, the Grace Design m905 delivers consistent results so you can mix and master with confidence.
PREMIUM GRACE DESIGN QUALITY
Built to the same exacting standards as all Grace Design products, the m905 Analog ensures sonic transparency, precise volume control, and long-term reliability. The analog-only configuration preserves the signalās integrity without digital conversion, so you can use your preferred DAC. Every component, from the rugged enclosure to the power supply circuitry, reflects the Grace Design commitment to professional audio excellence. For studios focused on analog precision and tactile control, the Grace Design m905 Analog is the ultimate monitor control solution.
