I am offering a Duesenberg Paloma Vintage Burst from 2023, a handmade in Hanover (Germany) premium solidbody model with a solid alder body, set-in maple neck with a medium “D” neck profile and 42.5mm nut width, bound Indian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid diamond inlays and 22 fretted jumbo frets, hot-sounding HSS pickup configuration with a Duesenberg Alnico Blade singlecoil at the neck, a Duesenberg Pearlito singlecoil in the middle and a Duesenberg Grand Vintage humbucker at the bridge, high-quality Duesenberg Z tuners, Duesenberg steel saddle bridge including Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe tremolo tailpiece, in a beautiful vintage burst high-gloss finish with elegant nickel hardware in excellent condition, including Duesenberg Custom Line hardshell case and professional setup with 10-gauge Ernie Ball strings.

Duesenberg has achieved what many guitar makers can only dream of: as a relatively young brand, they have successfully established themselves on the market in recent years and won over big names such as Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) and Johnny Depp – and that usually takes more than just a few good guitars in the range. The designers at Duesenberg know how to combine retro style and modern elements in fresh designs while maintaining the outstanding quality of their instruments: Duesenberg guitars sound excellent across the board, and this is the basis for their success.

This Paloma, one of Duesenberg's top solidbody models, is no exception and impresses with its innovative design and unique character. With its solid alder body and double cutaway, the instrument is initially reminiscent of a Stratocaster, but at the same time features a one-piece maple neck in a set neck construction, which makes the sound transmission much more efficient and results in a creamy sustain. The guitar's comfortable weight of 3.9kg gives it excellent acoustic resonance, which the versatile HSS pickup combination transmits to the amp with a choice of nuances ranging from wiry to powerful and punchy.

A sound sample of the model (only in white finish) can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.

Duesenberg makes no compromises when it comes to workmanship, wood selection, and playability. So it's no surprise that the medium-width “D” neck profile is extremely comfortable to play. The factory-based, computer-controlled PLEK machine also contributes to the perfect playability.

Visually, there's no question that this guitar is an elegant eye-catcher on any stage with its classic vintage burst finish, Art Deco nickel hardware in the style of the 1920s and 1930s, and the bound Indian rosewood fingerboard including elaborate pearl diamond inlays!
