The CE24 has long been known as the bolt-on alternative to perhaps their most famous model: The Custom 24. The bolt-on neck not only provides a more budget-friendly price point, but also extra 'Snap and Sparkle' (according to Paul himself) that can only be found in a bolt-on neck construction.
This Limited Run of CE24s offers something new to the eye, a Satin finish! Available in five different colours (of which we carry the Tobacco and Dark Cherry Sunburst) with only 25 models each available across Europe.
The combination of PRS' 57/08 TM pickups and the simple volume, tone & three-way switch provide versatility that is still easy to operate. In addition, the tone knob has a Push/Pull switch built in that allows you to scale the pickups from Humbuckers to Single Coils. Push the tremolo arm into the bridge and suddenly you have the best of both worlds.
PRS may be a modern brand, but these days it also has the history to prove its success. For instance, the first CE24 was built back in 1988 and it has only gotten better over the past 35 years.
Not convinced yet? Then I highly recommend you check out our interview with Paul....
Here he talks inspiringly about his brand and from what perspective they look at building guitars.
After a few minutes, you'll immediately know that you are in good hands with PRS!
For an impression of what this guitar sounds like, check out this demo of Leif de Leeuw playing a CE24 with us in 'Whale Blue'.
To showcase this instrument, he plays a beautiful version of Jeff Beck's 'Cause We've Ended as Lovers'.
