Collision Devices is a boutique effects pedal brand that is handmade in France.
Although it is a young brand, founded around 2016, it has gained a huge following mainly in Europe and the United States.
The Ranch is an effect pedal that integrates a natural tone overdrive, dynamic tremolo, and booster.
It has a distinctive look, which is made up of walnut and a vegan leather called Pinatex.
There are two footswitches, the right one toggles the overdrive on and off.
The left switch activates the booster when pressed briefly, and the tremolo when pressed longer.
You can also activate the tremolo by pressing and holding the switch after activating the booster.
It has a warm tone, and is a capable tool for making beautiful arpeggios and chords sound rather than jerky playing.
On the surface, there is only a simple control for overdrive, but the tremolo and booster parameters can be arranged by the internal trimmer.
