About this listing
The 2019 Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Junior Double Cut Reissue is now in stock! In 2019, the Historic Collection underwent specification changes designed to thoroughly capture the vintage essence, including the adoption of Luxe replica condenser capacitors and vintage-curve pots, as well as the switch to all-hide glue for body construction. Additionally, revisions to the headstock logo, the continued use of True Historic parts, and the introduction of cellulose nitrate inlays made this a year of significantly improved authenticity in both sound and appearance. The instrument features a solid mahogany body and neck, paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. The neck features the g50s Rounded Medium C-Shape,h which offers a solid, secure grip. It is equipped with a single gCustom Dog-Ear P-90h pickup. The combination of the fat neck shape and the wrap-around bridge?which transmits string vibration directly to the body?produces the Juniorfs signature rugged rock sound, characterized by a thick, powerful core. There are scratches and dents visible throughout the instrument, and signs of wear include pick marks on the body, as well as paint chips on the tip of the headstock and the neck joint. Additionally, the logo sticker that was applied to the pickguard at the factory remains in place, and faint traces of the sticker are visible in that area. The neck is in good condition, and there is ample fret life remaining. This instrument was manufactured in 2019 and shipped from the factory in 2020. Although it shows signs of use, this guitar has been well-played, and you can enjoy the unified tone produced by the hide glue construction! * Please note that due to the nature of this product, we are unable to transfer it between stores.
