A guitar that fully embodies the allure of vintage Fender!
A 1968 Maple Blonde Telecaster has just arrived!
With serial number 219595 and a neck date of 3JAN68B, this instrument is believed to have been manufactured around January 1968. Its visual appeal?featuring weather checking, sun fading, and some paint chipping?exudes an incredible aura that lets you truly experience the charm of a classic vintage Fender.
The frets have been refretted and the nut replaced; during this process, the entire neck was given an over-lacquer coat. However, vintage-sized frets were used, the work was done meticulously, and weather checking has developed throughout the neck, allowing for comfortable playing without compromising the instrumentfs vintage character.
Additionally, both pickups have been replaced with Pure Vintage f51 models. There were signs that the wiring around the selector switch had been altered to the configuration used from f52 to f67, but this has since been restored to its original state; the selector switch and pots remain original. (The original pickups are included; while the neck pickup is conductive, there are signs that the cover was once removed, and the bridge pickup may have a broken wire.)
Both potentiometer dates are 137-6642, indicating they date from around 1966, reflecting the historical context of a large-scale purchase at that time. The capacitors are also original, allowing you to experience the distinctive sound of gCircle Dh capacitors.
The bridge has been replaced with a 5-way type; it appears to have been replaced relatively recently, so it has a well-broken-in feel and is well-suited for modern playing styles.
There is a chip in the lower section of the pickguard on the 6th string side, but the chipped piece is included.
The original frets and nut are also included.
Although the guitar has undergone a nut replacement, refretting, bridge replacement, and pickup upgrades, the pickups themselves have been replaced with models that adhere to vintage specifications. Furthermore, the selector switch and pots?which significantly affect the sound?have been kept original. As a result, this is a guitar that is not only easy to play but also possesses the magical tone of a vintage Fender.
With vintage prices continuing to rise, please take this opportunity to purchase this guitar!
