The Epiphone DOT Studio is a semi-hollow model featuring the same slim, thin-line body as the flagship Epiphone Casino, along with the center block familiar from the Gibson ES-335.

It features a laminated maple top, sides, and back; a maple neck; a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays; Alnico Classic pickups; Volume and Tone controls (no coil tap); Grover tuners; and a truss rod cover bearing the gDot Studioh inscription.

As a model from Epiphone?a brand directly descended from Gibson?that follows the classic ES-335 semi-hollow body style, itfs ideal for players switching from solid-body guitars or as a second guitar for intermediate players.

Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches and scuffs around the headstock and outer edges, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, a sheen on the back of the neck and ring marks from playing, and tarnish and pitting on metal parts and screws, etc.).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string action adjustment, high-fret leveling, fret shaping, and fret edge finishing). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to operate smoothly from 60‹ to either side with no problems.
