A used 2024 Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul has just arrived!
This model recreates the specifications of the 1958 Les Paul, the year the Sunburst finish was introduced. It features the g50s Rounded Medium Ch neck?which is rounder and gfatterh than the 1959 model, often considered the pinnacle of Les Paul design?and some guitarists specifically choose the 1958 spec for its full-bodied low-to-midrange tone.
Equipped with two gCustombucker Alnico III (Unpotted)h pickups (not potted), a Luxe Bumblebee capacitor, and pots featuring a vintage curve, this guitar faithfully reproduces every detail of a vintage Les Paul, clearly demonstrating the extraordinary passion of the Gibson Custom Shop.
The control knobs and pickguard have been replaced. There are overall scratches and dents, including a large dent at the body end, paint chips around the headstock, and slight tarnish on the metal parts.
More than 70% of the frets remain, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
